San Diego is about to get Gorgeous
Gorgeous Got a Gun is proud to enthusiastically and officially announce that they are the winners of Indie Rock vs. The World national contest sponsored by Universal Pictures and Sonicbids. As the winners, Gorgeous Got a Gun will be performing at The Scott Pilgrim Vs. Comic-Con Experience July 23rd and July 24th.
The event is free to the public, no Comic Con badge needed. Fans are encouraged to come to San Diego to see GGG at this completely free and rare all ages performance.
The Scott Pilgrim experience is a fully immersive experience One of the experiences will be epic live music. Dan the Automator and Kid Koala, will spin, and Gorgeous Got a Gun, will rock your face off. There are opportunities to meet the cast and crew of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, make your own t-shirt, play the new Ubisoft game and tons more. You can get updates via http://twitter.com/spvscc

Indie Rock vs. The World was a nationwide Internet based battle of the bands contest with over 1,000 entrants. Gorgeous Got a Gun made it into the top 100 and was selected for the top 8 bands to compete in the battle of bands where they were then instructed to shoot a music video to go along with the movie. The band directed, produced, shot, edited, and added graphics to complete their video in 4 days. After the top eight bands had submitted their music videos, the real competition began as fans voted their favorite video into the next round. Week by week Gorgeous Got a Gun stood their ground, rallied their support and came out on top. Now Comic-Con is about to get GORGEOUS!
